This annual event, the Legacy Dinner, is our yearly major fundraiser. It raises the much needed funds that will be directed to the priority needs of Providence and Father Lacombe Care Centres.

Save the date! Friday, April 13, 2018 we will be holding the 19th Annual Legacy Dinner – Sound of Music, at Gasoline Alley, Heritage Park. 2017 Mardi Gras
Over 300 people attended last year. Guests enjoyed wine and Hors d’oeuvres with a Cajun flare, Bandi Photography did a wonderful job on photographs, the very popular Sucker Pull, Rose Raffle – with the chance to win a return trip for two to any scheduled WestJet destination, Chinese Auction, Silent and Live Auction, along with the St. Mary’s High School Jazz Band and the Edje Dance Theatre and a wonderful dinner topped off with Salted Caramel Cheesecake with Fresh Fruit Salsa, Pecan and Bourbon Sauce for dessert.

2016 Grease
On May 6, 2016, Gasoline Alley was decked out like a 1950’s diner from the hit musical “Grease”, right down to the strawberry milk shake style floral decorations on the tables. Guest adorned their 1950’s high school clothes, with a few Pink Ladies thrown in for good measure.

2015 The Beatles
2015 Legacy Dinner – “Come Together” to Grow Our Caring Community – a Musical Tribute to The Beatles was again a success! Over $110,000.00 was raised from the evenings events! This is the most ever in Gala History. Guest were greeted by Austin Powers (aka greg T.) and enjoyed an evening of toasts from Sister Gloria, Bishop Henry (to name a few), had a wonderful meal, drinks and dancing with great music from Calgary’s own Beatle tribute band: “All You Need is Love”.

2014 South Pacific
It was an enchanted evening with a very happy ending, just like in the movie ``South Pacific``. Friday, May 2, Calgary, Alberta A fun filled evening that provided great entertainment with Jack Sparrow as Emcee, hula dancers - “Pearls of Polynesia”, song and dance numbers from South Pacific performed by the “Some Enchanted Singers”, champagne, activities such as the Umbrella Pull, Tiki Hut, treasure hunt and photography booth as well as lots of one of a kind or unusual auction items contributed to a successful event.
